Crossroads Christian School

* Many CCS students have received Jesus as their Lord and Savior at CCS this year.

* Since 1998, when CCS graduated its first class of seniors, that over $400,000 in scholarships have been awarded to its graduates.

* 100 percent of CCS high school students have graduated from high school.

* CCS graduates have been accepted into prominent colleges and universities such as Emmanuel, NC State, Clemson, Catawba College, Lenoir Rhyne, Appalachian State University, Johnson and Wales, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

* CCS students generally test well above the state average on the Stanford Achievement Test.

* CCS graduates have been awarded college credit for college freshman English, college Spanish, and college Algebra due to the quality of their English, Spanish, and Math classes at CCS  (They did not have to take college freshman English, Spanish, and Algebra due to their high scores on placement tests administered by their respective colleges.)

* Since completion of the CCS gymnasium in June 2000, and the new soccer field, CCS had a 100 percent increase in students who received the Presidential Physical Fitness Award in the high school grades...and that CCS has had winning seasons in basketball...and that CCS has a girls volleyball team.

* CCS elementary, junior high, and high school students have won first, second, and third place in ACSI District Spelling Bees and Creative Writing Festivals.

* The 4 and 5-year-old Kindergarten classes, as well as all the other classes above Kindergarten at CCS all write in cursive.

*CCS's Heritage Cabin Project became the pilot project for a grant written to the National Endowment for the Arts.

* Two CCS teachers and the CCS Principal have been named to "Who's Who Among American High School Educators".

* CCS has a music, foreign language, computer and art program.
